SalahMate respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application uses, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

SalahMate may use the following information solely to provide its core functionality:

• Location: Your location is used to provide accurate prayer times, determine the Qibla direction, and detect nearby mosques for automatic silent mode.
• Notifications: Notification permission is used to deliver Adhan alerts, Iqamah reminders, and prayer notifications.
• Network Access: Internet access is required to retrieve accurate prayer times and other necessary information from our servers or trusted APIs.

2. Personal Information

SalahMate does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information.

Prayer times, preferences, and location data used by the app are stored locally on your device and remain under your control.

3. Background Location

SalahMate may use background location access to detect when you enter or leave a mosque. This allows the app to automatically enable silent mode while you are inside a mosque and disable silent mode when you leave.

4. Battery Usage

Continuous location tracking may increase battery consumption. SalahMate is designed to minimize battery usage while maintaining accurate mosque detection and prayer functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

SalahMate may display advertisements using third-party services such as Google AdMob. These services may collect certain information according to their own privacy policies.

6. User Control

• You can manually set your location instead of automatic detection.
• You can disable location permission at any time.
• You can disable notifications whenever you choose.
• All app data remains stored locally on your device.

7. Data Security

SalahMate stores its settings and data locally on your device. We do not maintain external databases containing your personal information.

8. Data Deletion Policy

SalahMate does not require users to create an account and does not store personal information on external servers.

You can permanently delete all app data at any time by:

• Uninstalling the SalahMate application from your device.
• Clearing the application's storage and data through your device settings.

Once the application is uninstalled or its data is cleared, all locally stored information is permanently removed from the device.
